In the reading we just did it relates to Romantacism in two ways that really stood out to me. First emotion was the biggest one that I can think of. Mary Shelley included many details about how the monster felt. The monster tells his story and we learn the process in how he has learned about fire and many other things. The monster talks to us about how people don't like him because he is ugly when he goes into the hut. This shows emotion the monster has feelings and you feel sadness for him. We also connect to emotion through Victor because he is very depressed and then he experiences bliss from the mountain and glaciers he sees. While he was enjoying the views of Montanvert he sees the monster and experiences anger as well so this is why I think emotion is the biggest Romantacism piece that pops up. The differences between the Shelley's is basically that she didn't go into as much detail as he did and describe it as well.
