Tinturn Relations
In Tinturn Abbey William Wordsworth uses words that describe his surroundings. He talks about how he becomes a living soul within the life of things. He describes the woods and cottages and how he felt tranquil and he loves to remember these things. Says that his memory of the woods may be vain because of the influence it had on him. He describes his memories and how they affected him and how future memories may affect him. This poem relates to Mont Blanc because they use imagery to describe nature. In Mont Blanc it's all about describing nature and how he feels when he is in nature. Tinturn Abbey talks about nature and he is recalling it. Frost at midnight uses imagery as well but isn't all about nature. Frost at midnight is more about how he recalls things as well. He describes about dreaming about a sweet birthplace. Nature has a small part in frost at midnight but it is beautifully described by "I shall wander like a breeze" " By lakes and sandy shores" for some reason this brings good pictures into my head and makes me think if summer and happiness. All of these poems inspire happiness and bring back good thoughts.

Blog number 3
In the reading we just did it relates to Romantacism in two ways that really stood out to me. First emotion was the biggest one that I can think of. Mary Shelley included many details about how the monster felt. The monster tells his story and we learn the process in how he has learned about fire and many other things. The monster talks to us about how people don't like him because he is ugly when he goes into the hut. This shows emotion the monster has feelings and you feel sadness for him. We also connect to emotion through Victor because he is very depressed and then he experiences bliss from the mountain and glaciers he sees. While he was enjoying the views of Montanvert he sees the monster and experiences anger as well so this is why I think emotion is the biggest Romantacism piece that pops up. The differences between the Shelley's is basically that she didn't go into as much detail as he did and describe it as well.
